Celebrating Atlético London’s Inaugural Season
As we drew a close to our 2025/26 season, we came together to celebrate with players, staff and families at our End of Season Awards Evening. It was a chance to reflect on an unforgettable first year for Atlético London, recognising the hard work, commitment, and achievements of everyone involved both on and off the pitch.
Award Winners 25/26
COACHES PLAYER OF THE SEASON - BROOKE HAYLOCK
A remarkable first season in senior football saw Brooke recognised with the Coaches’ Player of the Season awards, following an outstanding campaign leading the line for Atlético London.
Brooke finished the season with an incredible 40 goals across all competitions, including 34 league goals in just 23 games, while consistently setting the standard with her work ethic and mentality throughout the year.
Speaking on Brooke, Jason Murray, Head Coach, said: “A remarkable first season in senior football for Brooke and an incredible goal return with a staggering 34 league goals. The goals have flowed because Brooke brought intensity to every single training session and was prepared to put in all the extra work off the pitch.
She is always looking to improve and has leaned on the coaching staff all season to find those marginal gains. That mixture of talent and mindset is a powerful blend and one that will continue to produce next season and beyond.”
Unsurprisingly, after her outstanding season, Brooke was also awarded the Golden Boot and Goal of the Season. The standout goal was a stunning bicycle kick against Harpenden Town.
PLAYERS’ PLAYER OF THE SEASON - AMBER PROVAN
Voted for by her teammates, Amber’s consistency, versatility and attitude throughout the campaign made her a hugely deserving winner of the Players’ Player of the Season award. The 22-year-old, originally a CB, moved into CM towards the end of the season, demonstrating her versatility.
Billy Robinson, Operations Director, reflects on Amber’s season: “Originally playing at centre-back before moving into central midfield towards the end of the season, Amber consistently delivered high-level performances wherever she was asked to play. A constant presence at training and one of the most respected figures within the squad, her impact both on and off the pitch has been invaluable this season.”
YOUNG PLAYER OF THE SEASON - JADA MCGIBBON
At just 20 years old, left-back Jada McGibbon enjoyed an incredibly impressive first season and was recognised with the Young Player Award. Jada’s energy, consistency and attitude throughout the campaign made her a standout player within the squad, earning recognition from both teammates and staff alike.
Danielle Carter, Sporting Director, comments: “Jada was my young player of the year because I’ve been impressed with her energy on and off the pitch. She has been one of the most consistent players, and sometimes that gets overlooked, so I’m glad for her to be recognised and appreciated with this award.”
TOP ASSISTS - AMMARAH ALI
Ammarah collected the most assists in the 25/26 season. Her creativity, directness and influence in the final third made her one of the standout performers of the season, with her numbers only telling part of the story
Robinson says: “Predominantly operating from the left wing, Ammarah hit the ground running from the very start of the season and quickly established herself as one of Atlético London’s key attacking threats. Alongside finishing the campaign with 11 assists, Ammarah also scored 14 goals, the second-highest tally in the squad, including a memorable strike in the FA Cup against Cambridge.”
THE EMBER AWARD - KANE PECCOO
The Ember Award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the club through dedication, reliability and commitment to the team. This season’s award was presented to club photographer Kane Peccoo, who diligently covered 22 games throughout the campaign, becoming an indispensable member of the club.
Robinson shares: “Kane is an absolute great guy, and he’s an integral part of the team. He’s done everything out of his love for the game and is loved by everyone within the club, irreplaceable and priceless!”
It’s been an incredible first season for everyone involved, and only the beginning for Atlético London. We now look ahead to our trials for the upcoming season, which kick off at the start of June.
