It Ends Level at Garden Walk

Last weekend we travelled to Garden Walk for our third match of the season, and with both teams still unbeaten in the league, it was set to be a challenging game.

It was a closely contested first half, with the two sides going toe-to-toe from the start. Haylock continued her outstanding form in front of goal, finding the back of the net once again to put us ahead. Royston also added their name to the score sheet in the first 45, capitalising on a defensive error.

We came out strongly after the restart and dominated much of the second half, creating chances and pushing hard for all three points. Despite our efforts, we couldn’t find the breakthrough and the game finished level at Garden Walk.

We look ahead to Sunday where we face Royston again, this time in the FA Cup.
